Most vitamins on the market are chemically synthesized, “isolated” compounds, and thus may be tougher for the body to absorb than vitamins from actual food sources.
Conscious Strength’s Whole Food Vitamin C comes from actual fruits and herbs, sourced from Amla Berry, Acerola Cherry, Golden Rod, Stinging Nettle, Hibiscus, and Rose Hips. Since our Vitamin C is whole food, or “food based”, this may lead to more bioavailability and more antioxidant potential in the body.
Humans are also one of the only mammals that cannot produce endogenous Vitamin C, meaning the body cannot produce it’s own in the liver, unlike many other mammals in the animal kingdom. This is why Vitamin C is essential to obtain through diet or supplementation not only for the immune system, but many other body processes.
Suggested Use:
Adults: add 1 dropper to water or beverage 3-5 times daily, or as needed.
Children 6 Months & Up: Add a few drops to water or beverage 3-5 times daily, or as needed.
You may also take this Vitamin C straight, as it has a pleasant berry-ish flavor.

Iodine is an important trace element that the body cannot produce on its own. Iodine can be obtained through certain foods like seafood, eggs, and seagreens like kelp and spirualina - however, advanced support is sometimes needed.

Calculating milligrams of Iodine and Iodide per drop of Lugol's Solution 5%:
Each vertical "metric" drop (= 1/20 ml) is approximately 2.5 mg of iodine and 5 mg of potassium iodide.
The Iodide portion of Potassium Iodide is about 75% so that is 3.75 mg.
Therefore the total Iodine plus Iodide is 2.5 + 3.75 = 6.25 mg and 2 drops is about 12.50 mg's of iodine/iodide (5.0 mg iodine, 7.50 mg iodide).
